Seasonal workshops teach about the seasonal ancestral folk practices and traditions of Northwestern Europe. We discuss historical practices and their modern interpretations, as well as offer resources for continued learning and ways to share and celebrate at home or with friends and family. Each class covers the two ancestral solar celebrations of the season.

Sign up for our book club! Its free and prioritizes community discussion. We spend time with one book for an entire year and meet every 4-6 weeks. Its easy on even the most burdened schedule, and its collaborative nature gives participants an opportunity to connect over shared experience and powerful new ideas.

Item descriptionOur free “Cultural Appropriation: A Closer Look” course covers the cultural challenges experienced by folks of the Northwestern European diaspora and how those challenges contribute to the harmful practice of cultural appropriation. In this three-hour course, we create space to honor grief as well as explore pathways out of cultural appropriation.
