Welcome to our Book of the Year club!

This year, we will be studying “Becoming Kin: An Indigenous Call to Unforgetting the Past and Reimagining Our Future” by Patty Krawec. We will meet over Zoom every 4-6 weeks to discuss the assigned readings as a group. Participation in this book club is free*, but registration is required!

After checkout/registration, you will receive an email with a link to a Google Doc with the reading assignment, meeting schedule, and Zoom link. This is the master document that will be referenced and updated as needed throughout the year. Keep it in your online records!

This book club is offered as a service to the community and participation is available to all women and femmes in alignment with the broader mission of Nourishing Kin. While many participants will belong to the northwestern European diaspora, women and femmes from any cultural heritage are invited to participate.

Thank you for spending the year with us as we deepen into kinship together.

*Participants will need access to their own physical or digital copy of “Becoming Kin” for the entirety of the book club. Copies are available for purchase through the publisher, major booksellers, or may be available to borrow from your local library.
