Ostara 2024

Our Ostara gathering was a beautiful experience of practicing “being with” self, each other, the land and other beings at Antelope Island.

The weather was blustery and we were grateful to have a cosy classroom space at the Antelope Island visitor center to spend most of our gathering in.

We connected with each other by sharing about different gifts that nature has given us over the years.

As a part of our seasonal check-in, Alisa shared some of the history and rich symbols of life and fertility at this time of year.

We shared ideas and had discussion about what our own personal and modern traditions are in this season while having lunch together.

Channing educated us around the skill of “being with”, helping us learn through various mediums of experience and shared the powerful story of Sigyn while everyone hand crafted air-dry clay bowls.

We then had the opportunity to “be with” the land at Antelope Island. Bergen helped guide us through the holding and emptying of our “being with” bowls and held space for community sharing of those experiences with the land.

We end every gathering in song together and this time, the wind joined us too as we sang and said thank you for all that this gathering was.
